Julie Koslowsky brings extensive experience in education and community engagement, having served as the Director of Teen Services at the Chicago Public Library since May 2014. In this role, Julie conducts outreach to schools, develops relationships, and organizes activities for youth groups while also leading tours of the innovative YOUmedia program. Previous positions include volunteer work at 826CHI, managing internships focused on teen dating violence prevention, and advocating for students within the Women’s and Gender Studies program at DePaul University. Additionally, Julie has a strong background in child care and household management, having worked as a personal assistant/nanny, while also holding various roles in library services that emphasize civic engagement and technology for teens.
