Christina O'Brien

Christina O'Brien is an accomplished project management professional with extensive experience in both educational and organizational settings. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager in the Portfolio Management Office at Chicago Public Schools since January 2014, Christina provides leadership and expertise in project planning and execution, promoting continuous improvement across the organization. Prior to this role, Christina held various positions at McGraw-Hill Education from December 1999 to February 2013, including Director of the Project Management Office for the Literacy and Humanities Learning Solutions Center, where Christina managed a portfolio valued at $53 million. Christina also served as Director of Editorial Services and Managing Editor, focusing on program delivery quality and budget adherence. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Kellogg Executive Scholar designation in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
