Clay Johnson, PhD, is a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst at Chicago Public Schools since January 2020. With a strong background in educational statistics and research methods, Clay has served as an Institutional Research Analyst at the University of Illinois at Chicago and as a Resource and Policy Analyst within the University of Illinois system. Prior roles include working as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas, where responsibilities involved research assistance and teaching statistics-related courses. Additionally, Clay was a Research Intern at NWEA and worked as a Math Teacher in Arkansas Public Schools. Clay holds a PhD from the University of Arkansas, a MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA from Harding University. In addition to professional work, Clay has been a volunteer tenor in the St. James Cathedral Choir since 2017.
