Dr. Shonnika Henry

Dr. Shonnika Henry currently serves as the School Principal at Chicago Public Schools since June 2023. Prior to this role, Shonnika was a Resident Principal at New Leaders from July 2022 to June 2023 and has extensive experience in educational leadership, having worked as a School Improvement Coach and Teacher in Fulton County Schools from August 2015 to July 2021. Shonnika's career also includes teaching positions at Duval County Public Schools from December 2010 to August 2015 and serving as a Program Facilitator at Florida State College - Jacksonville between October 2010 and July 2015. Dr. Henry holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Clark Atlanta University, obtained in May 2019, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Jacksonville University.
