Jay Fox

Jay Fox is an experienced educator and UX designer with a strong background in computer science and user experience design. Currently serving as a CTE Computer Science Teacher and CS Department Chair at Chicago Public Schools, Jay has successfully expanded student access to certification programs and college-level courses. Additionally, Jay co-founded Firebrand Collective, which focuses on creating an inclusive lifestyle platform through strategic UX design and storytelling. In various UX designer roles, Jay has led brand redesigns and ensured user-centered experiences, while also contributing to accessibility compliance and marketing initiatives. Educational credentials include a UX Design Certificate from Loyola University Chicago and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Computer Programming and Fine/Studio Arts from Columbia College Chicago.
