Michelle Modrzejewski is an accomplished dance educator and choreographer with extensive experience in various educational roles. Currently serving as a Learning Specialist and Education & Adaptive Dance Faculty Head at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago since January 2015, Michelle has also managed the School and Community Programs, fostering partnerships with institutions like the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition, Michelle has been a temporary dance teacher for Chicago Public Schools, developing standards-based curricula for K-8 students. A freelance choreographer and dancer since 2007, Michelle contributed as a long-term substitute dance teacher at York Community High School and worked with Mindful Practices, where Michelle focused on Social Emotional Learning through movement. Michelle's educational background includes a B.A. in Dance from Ball State University, a Post Baccalaureate in Dance Education, and a Master's degree in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
