Amy McCullough

Amy McCullough is an accomplished storyteller and writer with extensive experience in publishing and communications. Currently serving as the Managing Editor and Senior Writer for Land&People magazine at the Trust for Public Land since November 2021, Amy leads content production and crafts various narratives highlighting the organization's influence on the environment. As a freelance writer since 2015, Amy has contributed to multiple publications, focusing on topics such as food, culture, nature, and the environment. In addition to writing, Amy is the author of the adventure memoir "The Box Wine Sailors," released in 2015. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Communications at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and music editor at Willamette Week. Amy holds a Master's degree in Human/Cultural Geography from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in English - Creative Writing from Loyola University Chicago.
