Aubrey Monks

Aubrey Monks currently serves as the Associate Director of College Counseling and Family Engagement at Chicago Scholars, a position held since April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Chicago Public Schools from July 2014 to April 2022, and Principal at ChicagoQuest Schools from July 2013 to July 2014. Monks also held the role of Resident Principal at Chicago Public Schools from July 2012 to July 2013 and worked as a Teacher within Chicago Public Schools from 2006 to 2012. Academically, Monks earned a Master of Arts in Reading Specialist from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from the University of Illinois Chicago.
