Matias Arizaga currently serves as a Data Analyst at DHL Global Forwarding, utilizing advanced mathematics, statistics, and predictive modeling techniques within Excel to create finance reports that evaluate profits, losses, and revenue per shipment. In addition, Matias has been a Scholar at Chicago Scholars since August 2017, an organization dedicated to mentoring academically ambitious students from under-resourced communities for college success. Previously, Matias interned as an Electronics Design System Engineer at Adler Planetarium, collaborating with scientists and engineers on the design of ThinSat, a project aimed at studying Earth’s features through light wavelengths. Matias holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
