Ella Masar

Ella Masar is an accomplished soccer professional with a diverse career spanning both coaching and athletic roles. Currently serving as the First Team Assistant Coach and Interim Head Coach at Chicago Stars FC since January 2023, Masar previously held the position of 1st Assistant Coach at KC Current from January to November 2022. As a co-founder and director at Doyenne Sport, an agency dedicated to promoting female footballers, Masar actively contributes to elevating women's sports. Masar's extensive experience as a professional athlete includes stints with notable clubs such as VfL Wolfsburg, FC Rosengård, Houston Dynamo FC, Chicago Red Stars, Paris Saint-Germain, and Magic Jack FC. An alumnus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Masar holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, highlighting a well-rounded background both on and off the field.
