Debbi Dennison is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in camera operations and multimedia production. Currently serving as a Camera Operator for Kane County Cougars Baseball and the Chicago Steel, Dennison has a strong background in live sports broadcasting. Since 1997, Dennison has also been a Multimedia Producer for EGTV Elk Grove Television, creating a variety of programming including history documentaries and high school sports coverage. Additional roles include Freelance Camera Operator for MPTV Mount Prospect TV and a varied career as an actress in theatre and film since 2005. Dennison's early experience ranges from studio operations at CLTV News to internships at TimeWarner Cable. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications from Northern Illinois University and an Associate of Arts from Harper College.

The Chicago Steel are in their 23rd season in the United States Hockey League (USHL). The organization has been lauded for its on-ice accomplishments and focus on affordable family entertainment since it moved to Geneva, IL in 2015. Over the past seven (7) seasons, the Chicago Steel are the winningest franchise in the sixteen (16) team United States Hockey League. During that time, the Chicago Steel have earned: • Two (2) Clark Cup Championships • Two (2) Regular Season Titles (Anderson Cup) • Three (3) Conference Championships In each of the past two seasons, the Chicago Steel has produced the most NHL Draft picks of any independent team in the world. This includes former defenseman Owen Power who was selected by the Buffalo Sabres with the #1 overall pick in the 2021 draft. Since the inaugural 2000-2001 season, after playing with the Steel, 303 Steel players have advanced to NCAA Division I teams, 45 have been selected in the NHL Draft and 22 have played in the NHL. Steel players are recruited from across the country and internationally. They live with host families during their time in Chicago and the team assists each player in education options while with the team. Education and development as players/individuals are keys to their success.
