Brian Wise is an accomplished radio producer, writer, and editor with extensive experience in classical music media. Currently serving as a Radio Producer for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since December 2016, Brian produces and scripts a national weekly radio series. In addition, Brian manages editorial content for the Curtis Institute of Music's magazine and has a diverse portfolio as a self-employed writer, producer, and editor, contributing to publications like Apple Classical Music and Strings Magazine. Previous roles include Online Editor at WQXR Radio and Producer at WNYC New York Public Radio, where Brian developed a daily music talk program and managed online content. Brian holds a BMA in Music History and Performance from the University of Michigan and an MA in Musicology and Journalism from Northwestern University, along with training in Front-End Web Development from New York University.
