Magaly Cordero is an experienced music educator and performer, currently serving as the Director of Melody Makers at Pro Musica Youth Chorus since August 2022, where responsibilities include leading children in music-related activities. As the Founder and Lead Instructor of Pop-Up Music School since January 2019, Magaly provides engaging music classes for children ages 3-10. Additionally, Magaly is a Chorister with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and has held cantor positions at various churches, including St. Agnes of Bohemia and Ascension Church. With extensive experience as a performing member of VOX 3 Collective and as a self-employed soprano opera singer, Magaly also co-owns Maggie's Concierge Service. Academic achievements include a Music Therapy Equivalency from Slippery Rock University, a Master’s in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelor's degree in Music from Northwestern University.
