Graham Garfield

Graham Garfield has been with the Chicago Transit Authority since May 1999, currently serving as the General Manager for RPM Operations & Communication Coordination, where responsibilities include leading the $2.1 billion Red-Purple Modernization Project and coordinating service impacts across various departments. Previous roles at the CTA encompass General Manager of Customer Information, overseeing communication strategies, and Rail Transportation Manager, focusing on service safety and efficiency for over 700,000 daily riders. Also, Graham held positions in construction management and special projects, providing technical support for construction initiatives. In addition to professional experience, Graham serves on the Board of Directors for the Shore Line Interurban Historical Society since 2001. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Public Management from Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business, a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, alongside a brief study at The University of Sheffield.
