Richard Rounds

Richard Rounds is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and architectural design. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the Chicago Transit Authority since March 2023, Richard oversees capital projects with budgets up to $100 million within the Infrastructure department. Prior to this role, Richard worked as an Architect III at Metra Commuter Rail, managing Commuter Rail Stations and Parking projects, with individual project budgets reaching $50 million. Richard's previous positions include Senior Project Manager at the University of Chicago Facilities Services, Design Manager at General Growth Properties, Inc., Senior Associate at TVS, Inc., and Independent Architectural Consultant for the Dekalb County Board of Health. Richard holds a Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
