Amanda Kaschube

Amanda Kaschube is the Director of Content for Sports at the Chicago Tribune. Amanda has over fifteen years of experience in the journalism and media industry.

Kaschube began their career as a sales assistant at Mesirow Financial from May 2002 to April 2004. In this role, they assisted traders and salesmen on the Municipal Bond Desk with trade problems, opened new accounts, and compiled expense reports.

Kaschube then transitioned to writing, taking on the role of sports writer at the Topeka Capital-Journal from August 2000 to August 2001. In this role, they served as University of Kansas sports correspondent, researching and writing four to five stories per week including game stories and sports features. Amanda also assisted the main beat writer in generating story ideas and sidebars.

Kaschube joined the Chicago Tribune Media Group in 2004 and has held various positions within the company over the past fifteen years. Amanda was promoted to their current position as Director of Content for Sports in 2019.

Amanda Kaschube has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (News/Editorial) from The University of Kansas. Amanda majored in political science, English, history, and French.
