Elizabeth Taylor has an extensive career in literary journalism and academia, currently serving as Co-Editor for The National Book Review since 2015 and as Literary Editor at Large for the Chicago Tribune since 1996. Taylor's previous experience includes a board position at The National Book Critics Circle from 2000 to 2016 and multiple roles as Visiting Professor at Mount Holyoke College in 2007 and 2013. Prior to these academic ventures, Taylor worked as a Correspondent for TIME Magazine from 1983 until 1996. Elizabeth Taylor holds a Master of Arts in History from Yale University (1982-1984) and a Bachelor's degree in History from Mount Holyoke College (1975-1979).
