Ben Rinker

Ben Rinker has over 13 years of experience in the metal industry. Ben is currently serving as the Corporate Director of Stainless & Aluminum at Chicago Tube & Iron since July 2021. Before this, they worked for Midwest Specialty Metals, Inc as the President from October 2014 to March 2021. Prior to that, Ben held various positions at TCT STAINLESS STEEL, INC., including Sales Manager from September 2013 to September 2014 and Regional Sales Representative from October 2012 to August 2013. Ben started their career at Outokumpu in July 2008, where they served as a Sales Representative and later as a Regional Sales Manager from April 2010 to September 2012. During their time at Outokumpu, Ben was recognized as the top salesperson and received the 2009 "Back to Black" sales award for their exceptional performance.

Ben Rinker attended Northwestern University from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Communication and Media Studies but did not complete a degree. Ben then transferred to Hope College and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management and Communications.
