Joe Gemino

Joe Gemino is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in equity research and strategic analysis. Currently serving as Head of Research at Chicago Venture Partners, a position held since January 2023, Joe has previously held key roles at Waud Capital Partners as Business Intelligence & Strategy and at Morningstar as Senior Equity Analyst and Equity Analyst in the energy sector. Past experience includes a summer associate role in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs and an internship at Gate City Capital Management, specializing in micro-cap value equities. Joe's earlier positions include significant roles in accounting policy at Northern Trust and Citi, as well as an auditing position at EY. Joe holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a Master’s of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
