Chicago Youth Centers
Geoffrey Edwards, CPRP, currently serves as the Center Director at Chicago Youth Centers since October 2022. Previously, Geoffrey held the position of School Age Coordinator at Trinity United Church of Christ Child Care Centers Inc. from April 2020 to October 2022. Prior roles include Afterschool/Daycamp Manager at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center - Chicago from March 2015 to April 2020, and Physical Instructor at Chicago Park District from August 2008 to March 2015, where responsibilities included planning and implementing fitness and sports programs. Geoffrey also served as an Archery Coach at Chicago Archery Center and World Sports Chicago from 2009 to 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Frostburg State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Chicago State University.

For 1,400 children and families, Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) is the place where possibility lives. CYC is the city’s largest private urban youth organization.
