Brian Crump is an attorney at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP. He has practiced law for 10 years in the firm’s Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group. In this role, he spends significant time with startup and early-stage companies, driving corporate and strategic transactions: venture financing, exit transactions, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and private equity buyouts. Prior to that, in 2012 he was part of the original team that opened 1871, Chicago’s leading tech startup ecosystem, interacting with resident startups, investors, educational institutions, and partners on a daily basis. He has over 12 years of investment experience and 10 years of direct working experience within Chicago’s startup and entrepreneurial world.
