John Forsberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John started their career as a Truck Driver for the New York Daily News in 1973. John then worked at McDonald's as a Restaurant Crew Member and later became an Assistant Manager from 1973 to 1976.
After that, they joined LSG Sky Chefs and held various roles such as Airport Field Supervisor, Senior Pricing Analyst, and Manager of Operations & Marketing Services. During their time at LSG Sky Chefs, they developed innovative solutions to manage airline catering operations and pricing models for American Airlines.
In 1989, John joined American Airlines as a Principal, where they invented a performance management system for the Airline Reservations Group. John also worked as the Director of Delta Technology at Delta Air Lines, leading a software development group and introducing game-changing innovations in ticketing, reservation, and airport operations.
Following their tenure at Delta Air Lines, John worked as an Independent Consultant, providing information technology consulting services. John then joined Reflexis Systems, Inc. as a Senior Sales Engineer, contributing to sales efforts.
More recently, John worked at TRC Staffing Services, Inc. as a Principal Consultant for Chick-fil-A's Production Design group, where they invented production management and interactive timer systems for hot chicken control in all Chick-fil-A kitchens. John also initiated the application of AI/ML/Sensory technologies to improve kitchen operations for the company.
Currently, John Forsberg is employed at Chick-fil-A Corporate as a Lead Engineer in the Production Design department.
John Forsberg completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Hofstra University in the field of Marketing, attending from 1977 to 1980. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from the Florida State University - College of Business, specializing in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management, attending from 1974 to 1976. John's educational journey began at Nassau Community College, where they pursued their undergraduate studies from 1972 to 1974, but did not earn a degree.
