Aaron Fountain Jr.

Aaron Fountain Jr., PhD, serves as a Web Content Editor for the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture at Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc., where responsibilities include drafting blog posts and managing web content for a high-traffic website. Additionally, Aaron has maintained a successful freelance writing and video editing career since 2016, contributing to scholarly journals and major media outlets. Previous roles include African American Cultural Heritage Fellow at Cleveland Restoration Society, where project management and community engagement were primary focuses, and various academic positions at Indiana University Bloomington, including Dissertation Researcher, Course Assistant, and Associate Instructor. Aaron holds a PhD in History, a Master's degree from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor's degree from Winthrop University.
