Andy Mecs

Andy Mecs has extensive work experience in the food industry. Andy currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Commercial at Chicken of the Sea since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at StarKist Co., where they held various roles including Vice President of Marketing and Innovation (Chief Marketing Officer) from January 2018 to August 2021. Andy also worked as the Director of Marketing and Innovation, Director of Trade Marketing and Military Sales, and Regional Sales Manager at StarKist Co. from 2010 to 2017. Before joining StarKist Co., they worked at Del Monte Foods, Inc., where they held several positions including Business Development Manager, Customer Development Manager, Customer Marketing Manager, and Trade Marketing Manager from 2004 to 2010.

Andy Mecs completed their education in a chronological manner. Andy began their academic journey in 1996 at the University of Pittsburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Philosophy. After completing their undergraduate studies, Andy sought further education and enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in 2000. Here, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Concurrently, they also enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where they pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Andy successfully completed their education in both fields in 2003.
