Bounnak Thammavong

Bounnak Thammavong has a diverse work experience in various engineering and artistic roles. They started their career in 2010 as a Lead Engineer/Art Consultant at M.C. Ginsberg, where they managed product design and prototyping projects. Their specialization included 3D CAD, CAM, and advanced 3D technologies. They also worked as a Product Engineer and Lead Engineer at Wittek Golf, contributing to the development of golf supplies. Bounnak Thammavong served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Guardian Electric Mfg. Co., where they contributed to the manufacturing process. In 2015, they became the Director of Engineering at Matrix IV, Inc., overseeing engineering operations. They also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Pickwick Mfg., contributing to the manufacturing process. Bounnak Thammavong is currently a Design Engineer at Chief Enterprises LLC, utilizing their expertise in engineering design. Alongside their engineering roles, Bounnak Thammavong has also pursued their artistic passion as the Lead Artist at Bounnak Thammavong Artworks, showcasing their artistic abilities. In 2020, they served as a Product Engineer and Director of Engineering at M4, assisting clients in turning their product concepts into reality. Bounnak Thammavong completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Metals (Public Art, 3D CAD/CAM Design) from the University of Iowa from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, Thammavong earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sculpture (Public Art) from the University of Northern Iowa.
