Richard Porter has had a diverse work experience in the marketing industry. Richard started their career at Metia as a Data Services Executive in 2003. From there, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Warehouse Media Group Limited, where they provided campaign delivery to agency clients. In 2006, they joined Chief Nation as an Account Director & Regional Business Manager before taking on roles as Director of Operations and Delivery, Managing Director, and eventually becoming the Managing Director and Co-Owner of the company in 2020. Additionally, Richard volunteered as a Trustee at Think Malawi, using their industry experience to develop marketing and operational strategies. Overall, Richard's work experience demonstrates their expertise in marketing, leadership, and strategic planning.

- From 1999 to 2002, they attended Manchester Metropolitan University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Photography.
- In 1998 to 1999, they studied at The Kent Institute of Art & Design, completing a BTech in Foundations Studies in Art & Design.
- Between 1995 and 1997, they attended Mid Kent College of Further and Higher Education, where they completed 3 A Levels in English, Geography, and Environmental Science.
- From 1990 to 1995, they studied at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, where they obtained 9 GCSEs, including subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Geography, Spanish, Geology, and Art.
In addition to their formal education, Richard Porter has obtained two additional certifications, namely the Day Skipper certification from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in 2022 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation certification from The IT Service in 2018.
