Norah Ambrose MSc has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several organizations. Norah started their career as a Press & Information Assistant at the Embassy of Ireland in Paris in 1994. From there, they worked as an Internal Communications Co-ordinator at Honeywell from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they served as the Internal Communications & Community Affairs Manager at Dell from 2000 to 2002, and then as an Internal Communications Consultant at Diageo from 2002 to 2003.
In 2003, Norah joined the Local Government Management Agency as an Industrial Relations Executive Administrator, where they remained until 2013. Norah then became a Human Resources Executive at the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) from 2013 to 2017.
Currently, Norah holds key positions at the Chief State Solicitor's Office. Norah first served as the Human Resources Manager from 2017 to 2019, and then was promoted to the role of Head Of Human Resources in September 2019, a role they continue to hold.
Norah Ambrose MSc started their education at Presentation Convent, Clonmel, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. Norah then went on to attend Dublin City University from 1988 to 1992, where they completed a hons BA degree in International Marketing & Japanese. In 1991, they also obtained a certificate in Japanese from Toyo University.
Later, in 2010-2011, Norah attended the National College of Ireland and earned a CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management. Norah then pursued a MSc degree in HRM at Smurfit Business School from 2011 to 2013.
In the year 2013, they completed the Senior Executive Programme in Leadership & Strategy at the Irish Management Institute.
