Shari Slate

Shari Slate currently serves as a member of Chief and The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), focusing on building an inclusive business leadership pipeline and increasing the number of successful black executives. Previously, Shari held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at CVS Health, and served on the Board of Governors for the CSU Foundation, promoting educational excellence. Shari's extensive experience includes roles at Cisco, where responsibilities spanned Chief Inclusion and Collaboration Officer, and participation in various councils with the World Economic Forum, addressing social justice and cohesion. In earlier positions at Sun Microsystems, Shari advanced diversity and inclusion strategies. Shari holds a B.A. in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis from Mills College.
