Kajfa Tam

Head of Art at Chief Rebel

Kajfa Tam has extensive experience in the gaming industry. They began their career as an Environment Artist at Lionhead Studios, where they contributed to the development of Fable 3. They also worked as a Technical Artist and Lead Technical Artist at Massive - A Ubisoft Studio, where they managed teams and collaborated closely with art, design, and code teams. During their time at Massive, they also served as a Technical Art Director and played a pivotal role in managing the tech art team, supporting the art team, and developing the in-house engine and tools. Kajfa later joined Improbable and Fire Without Smoke as a Technical Art Director, where they continued to leverage their expertise in developing and managing tech art teams. They then transitioned to Blizzard Entertainment as a Senior Tech Artist II and subsequently took on the role of Art Manager for the Heroes of the Storm team. At Blizzard Entertainment, Kajfa collaborated with the leadership team to manage artists, conduct performance reviews, and implement action plans for the art department's success. They also demonstrated their leadership skills at DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB), where they served as an Art Craft Manager, overseeing animation, tech animation, tech art, and character teams for various game projects. Currently, Kajfa is at Chief Rebel as the Head of Art, responsible for game development, team building, collaboration, and recruitment. Their work experience showcases their strong leadership, technical expertise, and ability to drive artistic vision and career growth.

From 2003 to 2006, Kajfa Tam attended Gotland University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic and Game Design.
