Micaela Bates

Micaela Bates is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in clinical settings. Currently serving as a Pre Doctoral Intern at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health since July 2021, Micaela previously worked as a Practicum Student at Community Health Network, focusing on psychological assessments for children ages 9-17. Micaela's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communication and Media Studies from Georgetown College and a research assistant role at the University of Indianapolis, where data collection for The Teen Resilience Project was conducted. Micaela has also held positions as a Graduate Assistant and Clinician-In-Training, providing therapy and administrative support at the university level. Furthermore, Micaela has experience as a Special Needs Caregiver and Youth Counselor, assisting children with various needs in creating therapeutic goals and maintaining a supportive environment.
