Kristin Macha has over 18 years of work experience. Kristin'smost recent role was as the Director of Community and Family Engagement at the Child Care Resource Network, where they assisted in developing a training curriculum for infant and toddler caregivers, provided technical assistance to providers, and represented the network at community meetings. Before that, they worked as a Certified Educator of Infant Massage, demonstrating massage strokes to parents and creating a safe environment for them to share experiences. Earlier in their career, they were a Teacher Aide at Stanley G. Falk School, teaching and assisting students with special needs, and at St. Timothy Lutheran Child Care Center, where they cared for infants and supervised staff.

Kristin Macha obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Childhood Education/English Education from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they hold several certifications. Kristin is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage, which they obtained from Infant Massage USA / International Association of Infant Massage in 2012. Kristin is also a Fully Certified PITC (Program for Infant/Toddler Care) Trainer, having completed their certification in May 2011. Kristin also holds the NYS Early Learning Trainer Credential, Level 2, awarded by the NYS Association for the Education of Young Children.
