Kristina Peltin Fuentes

Kristina Peltin Fuentes is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community outreach and education. Currently serving as the Family & Community Liaison at EMPOWER COLLEGE PREP since June 2020, Kristina previously worked at Child & Family Support Services, Inc. as a Community Outreach/Direct Support, assisting high needs children with transitions to community settings. Additionally, Kristina has a background in education as an ESL Teacher for grades 6-8 at Isaac School District #5, primarily supporting Hispanic and refugee students. Other roles include Freelance Writer and Copyeditor, Teacher at Open Minds Education, content roles at WDM Group, and English teaching in Brazil. Kristina holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Diego State University and furthered studies in Spanish and Counseling Psychology at Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica.
