Katherine Nees

Katherine (Katie) Nees is an experienced child life specialist and co-founder of Child Life Disaster Relief, where engagement includes roles as Board Member and Board President since January 2012. Nees has served at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since June 2007, progressing through multiple specialist positions. Additionally, Nees has worked as a Professional Consultant for Children's Disaster Services since August 2015. Previous experience includes child life specialist roles at various medical centers, including Johnson City Medical Center and Mission Children’s Hospital. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on End-of-Life Care from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
