Aki Nikolaidis

Aki Nikolaidis is an experienced product manager and research scientist. Currently serving as a product manager for the Child Mind Institute's Next Generation Digital Therapeutics initiative since May 2016, Aki also holds the position of Chief Science Officer at Visionary Training Resources since June 2021. Previous academic roles include postdoctoral fellow and neuroscience graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and research assistant positions at National Taiwan University Hospital and the University of Bern. Aki's research focuses on cognitive training, brain functioning, and the neuroimaging modalities of fMRI, MRS, and DTI, particularly in relation to brain plasticity and learning. Aki earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois System and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yale University.
