Child Trends
Alaina Margolis is a Research Scientist II at Child Trends, a position held since September 2018. Prior to this role, Alaina served as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow at AAAS from September 2017 to August 2018, acting as a Congressional Fellow sponsored by the Society for Research on Child Development. Alaina's academic background includes a PhD and a MA in Educational Psychology and Program Evaluation, respectively, obtained from The University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2017 and 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Alaina earned a BS in Psychology and a BA in Spanish from the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 2006 and 2011.
Child Trends
The Early Childhood Data Collaborative (ECDC) supports state policymakers’ development and use of coordinated state early care and education (ECE) data systems. The ECDC provides tools and resources to encourage data-driven state policy changes and provide a national forum to support the development and use of coordinated state ECE data systems.
