Danielle Diettrich Hegseth

Danielle Diettrich Hegseth is a Senior Research Scientist at Child Trends, a position held since November 2019. Hegseth previously worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Minnesota, teaching community and organizational development, as well as serving as a Continuous Quality Improvement Supervisor for the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Earlier experience at Child Trends includes roles as a Research Operations Manager, Sr. Research Operations Analyst, and Sr. Research Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed project management, data collection, analysis, and compliance. Prior consulting work with The Improve Group focused on data collection and analysis, and initial professional experience included a Program Coordinator role at the American Heart Association. Hegseth holds dual Master's degrees in Public Policy and Social Work, along with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Augsburg University.
