Julia Yao

Julia Yao is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in budget management and financial reporting. Since July 2015, Julia has held various roles at Child Trends, progressing from Senior Project Accountant to Budget and Reporting Manager. Julia also serves as a Lifetime Member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Prior to Child Trends, Julia worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at American University, where responsibilities included data processing and teaching Excel to students. Internships at Biodenta and AARP provided experience in accounting practices and financial reporting. Julia holds a Master's degree in Accounting from American University and a Master of Science in Statistics from Nanjing University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability.
