Kate Steber is a seasoned Research Scientist at Child Trends, actively leading and supporting a variety of program evaluation and research projects focused on young children and their families, family engagement, and early childhood systems. Previously, as a Senior Research Analyst, project management and qualitative analysis in early childhood development were key responsibilities. Other significant roles include coordinating a teen pregnancy prevention initiative in North Carolina with SHIFT NC, assisting with sexual health and wellness programs at UNC Chapel Hill, and providing developmental support at various agencies. Kate holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macalester College.
