Mya’ S.

Mya’ S. is an experienced research analyst specializing in child welfare, currently working at Child Trends since March 2020 after progressing through roles as a senior research assistant and research assistant. Prior to this, Mya’ S. gained teaching experience as a substitute teacher with Prince George's County Public Schools and served as an assistant teacher at the Prince George's County Public Schools Employees' Child Care Center. Mya’ S. has also completed internships focused on youth education and child welfare, including a role as a youth life educator intern with The Children's Guild. Mya’ S. has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Family & Human Services from Towson University, along with a Certificate of Achievement in Child Protection from Harvard Online.
