Carina Nixon

Carina Nixon is an experienced attorney currently working at CHILD USA since October 2021. Prior roles include serving as an Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration and the National Endowment for the Humanities, as well as an Associate Attorney at Hanger Steinberg Shapiro & Ash. Carina began legal career as a Post-Bar Law Clerk at the same firm and gained valuable experience through various internships, including drafting legal documents at Levine & Blit, PLLC, and conducting legal research for the California Department of Justice and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Carina holds a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Law, where additional certification in Dispute Resolution was earned, and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and Spanish Language from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
