Deja Lewis is a skilled professional with extensive experience in family support and program management. Currently serving as Program Administration Manager and previously as Health and Nutrition Specialist and Family Advocate at Children & Families First since February 2018, Deja focuses on enhancing family quality of life and community resource awareness. The experience as an ACES Group Leader at Guilford County Schools involved creating developmentally-appropriate programs for children, while an internship at Family Service of the Piedmont provided advocacy for domestic violence victims. Earlier roles included Sales Lead at The Children's Place and Certified Nursing Assistant at Hunter Hill Senior Village. Deja holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

For 55 years, we have been a trusted leader in early childhood education, and training for parents and child care providers in Guilford County. Over the years, our focus has grown to include comprehensive, family-centered programs promote educational excellence, health and well being, community engagement, job readiness and life-skills training. Children & Families First is proud to serve over 6,000 low-income families each year through these programs: Head Start and Early Head Start, Regional Child Care Resources & Referral, Nurse-Family Partnership, Learning Together Family Literacy, The Family Success Center, and the High Point Opportunity Center
