MacKenzie Harris

Mackenzie Harris has a diverse work experience in the education field. Mackenzie began their career as a Counselor at Soundview Sports Camp in 2005. Mackenzie then worked as an Office Worker at Westchester Medical Center in 2008. In the same year, they also served as a Mentor at East Middle School. Mackenzie gained teaching experience as an Intern at Fox Lane High School in 2009 and as an Intern in the School Counseling office at Fox Lane Middle School in 2010. Mackenzie joined THE Children's Academy as a Teacher Assistant in 2011. Mackenzie then worked at Children's Academy, where they held multiple roles including Head Kindergarten Teacher and 3rd Grade Teacher from 2013 to 2016. Mackenzie moved to Children's Academy as a Middle School special education teacher from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Quest Teacher at Dwight School. Mackenzie'sresponsibilities at Children's Academy included teaching various subjects, creating lesson plans, managing IEPs and communication with parents and staff.

Mackenzie Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science in human development from Binghamton University in 2008. Mackenzie then pursued a Masters of Science in School Counseling at Mercy University from 2008 to 2010. Mackenzie also holds a School Counseling - Provisional Certification from Mercy College, although the obtained month and year are not specified.
