Children's Aid
Ellen Thiemann Cambe, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work and employee engagement, currently serving as the Manager of Employee Engagement & Relations at the Children's Aid Society since September 2008. In this role, Ellen develops and implements strategies to enhance employee relations, investigates claims of misconduct, and prepares investigative reports while overseeing project planning for the agency's Code of Conduct and employee policies. Ellen's previous positions include Family Stabilization Social Worker, where comprehensive assessments and service plans for at-risk families were formulated, and Field Supervisor, providing guidance to MSW students in crisis intervention. Ellen's educational background includes an MSW in Urban Leadership from Simmons University and a BSSW from The Ohio State University. Additional contributions include involvement with the Simmons School of Social Work Alumni Board and various internships focused on clinical social work and psychiatric support.
