Dejá Santiago

Dejá Santiago currently serves as the Director of Education and previously held the title of Education Coordinator at Children's Arts and Science Workshops since April 2022. Prior experience includes working as STEAM Program Manager at The Bronx Children’s Museum from October 2019 to October 2021, and as Lead Facilitator for Youth Initiatives and Teaching Assistant at the American Museum of Natural History between June 2018 and October 2019. Dejá began an internship as Museum Education and Employment Intern at the American Museum of Natural History in May 2016. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education (September 2020 - June 2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology/Archaeology: Bioarchaeology from Mercyhurst University (2014 - 2018).
