Flor Checa

Flor Checa is an experienced mental health professional and educator with a diverse background in counseling and psychology. Currently serving as an Adoptions Mental Health Therapist APSS at the Children's Bureau of Southern California since August 2023, Flor also works as a Professional School Counselor for Hesperia Unified School District. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CEO of Orion Language, Mental Health Clinician at David & Margaret Youth and Family Services, Psychotherapist at the Child Guidance Center in Orange County, and Clinical Social Worker at Wayfinder Family Services. Flor Checa holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Chapman University, alongside ongoing doctoral studies in Applied Psychology at The Chicago School and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Alliant International University.
