Kiri Collins serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Understanding Animal Research Oceania, a not-for-profit organization focused on advocating the humane use of animals in research. Since July 2009, Kiri has held various leadership roles at the Children's Cancer Institute, including Head of Built Environment & Infrastructure and Project Lead for the Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre, overseeing operational support and strategic laboratory services. In addition, Kiri has been the President of the Australian and New Zealand Laboratory Animal Association (ANZLAA) since 2015, dedicated to enhancing animal welfare in research environments. Previous experience includes a Laboratory Support Officer role at Apollo Life Sciences from March 2007 to February 2009.
