La Tonja Ellis

La Tonja Ellis is the current Director of HR & Culture at the Children's Defense Fund. La has also served as the Executive Director of Student Affairs Human Resources at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Director of Library Human Resources at the University of Chicago, and the Plant Human Resources Coordinator at Innophos. Additionally, they have worked as a Corporate Human Resources Generalist at Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers and as an HR Operations Manager/Intensive Family Intervention Specialist at New Horizons Behavioral Health. Before their career in human resources, La Tonja was a Crisis Intervention Counselor at Euricka Consulting, Inc.
