Nathan Chaplin

Project Director at Children's Defense Fund

Nathan Chaplin has a diverse work experience in the education and non-profit sectors. Nathan worked as a Project Director at the Children's Defense Fund since 2012. Prior to that, they were a Program Coordinator of Sport Management and Human Performance at Claflin University starting from 2006. Nathan also worked as a Gamecock Club Assistant at the University of South Carolina from 2003 to 2006.

Nathan Chaplin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2004. Nathan further pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from the University of South Carolina, which they completed in 2006. Later on, Nathan obtained a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completing their studies in 2018.
