Rob Kearney is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in leadership, client services, and sports. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Elkstone since October 2022, Kearney also holds the role of Non Executive Director at Mason Alexander, a specialist recruitment firm. Kearney has been an Ambassador for Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin and Concern Worldwide since 2015 and 2008, respectively, focusing on fundraising and awareness initiatives. Kearney's past experiences include serving as Chairman of the Board for Rugby Players Ireland and a professional rugby player for both Western Force and the Irish Rugby Football Union. Kearney holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin and an MBA in Business Strategy from Dublin Business School.

Children’s Health Ireland
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) was established in 1 January 2019. This saw Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, Temple Street Children’s University Hospital and paediatric services at Tallaght University Hospitals come together and integrate into one organisation to deliver healthcare to Ireland’s children, in preparation for the opening of the new children’s hospital at St James's Hospital in Dublin. CHI governs and operates acute paediatric services for the greater Dublin area and all national paediatric services, some of which are on an all-island basis. It is also the client for the new children’s hospital project, including its two new outpatient and urgent care centres. As an academic healthcare organisation, CHI is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare through our triple mission of integrated services, education and research and innovation.
