Rob Dunbar

Rob Dunbar has over three decades of experience in the child welfare field, currently serving as a Resource Specialist at the Children's Home Association of Illinois since March 1996, where responsibilities include licensing and monitoring foster homes and assisting with child placements. Previously, Rob worked as a Caseworker/Licensing Specialist at Catholic Social Services from January 1990 to March 1996, providing casework services for behaviorally challenging children and overseeing foster home licensing. Rob's career began as an Investigator with DCFS from June 1983 to April 1987, focusing on investigations of child abuse and neglect. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Adult Education and Training Management from the University of St. Francis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Family Services from Eastern Illinois University.
